This policy explains how Products Decoded handles your personal data when you book a workshop or use productsdecoded.com. Products Decoded is operated by Debashis Nayak, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, and acts as the Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP).

What we collect and why

  • Booking details: your name, email, phone number, and (optionally) company. We use these to confirm your seat, send joining and setup instructions, and reach you about the workshop.
  • Payment data: processed entirely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. We do not see or store your card or bank details. We receive only the transaction result and Razorpay’s order and payment IDs.
  • Technical data: basic request data such as IP address, used only to run the site securely, rate-limit abuse, and prevent fraud. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymised traffic. This does not identify you personally.

Legal basis

We process your booking data on the basis of your consent, given when you book, and to perform our contract with you (delivering the seat you paid for). You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, though we may need to retain some records to meet tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with:

  • Razorpay — to process your payment.
  • Our email provider (Resend) — to send you transactional emails.
  • TransformTechX — our co-instructor for this workshop, limited to the participant list needed to run and support the sessions you booked.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep your booking and payment records for as long as needed to deliver the workshop, provide support, and meet legal and tax requirements. After that, we delete or anonymise them.

Your rights under DPDP 2023

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion, subject to our legal retention duties.
  • Withdraw consent and raise a grievance.
