About
Debashis Nayak
Senior Product Manager · Founder of Products Decoded, Jobtune, and Astrika
What I do
I lead product at a US fintech, where I built a $9.6M ARR business unit and an industry-first advertising engine embedded inside Microsoft Copilot. Alongside that, I run Products Decoded, a newsletter and YouTube show for people who actually ship, and I build my own products: Jobtune, an AI-native job-search platform, and Astrika, an AI Vedic astrology product.
Background
I studied Computer Science and Engineering at Centurion University. The plan was never to be a product manager. The plan was to be a founder, which is what I tried first.
At CoolHax Labs, the studio I founded straight out of college, we grew to a 50+ person team and shipped over 100 products across eight years. Some sold. Most died. The pattern that survived: products with a paying user inside the first 90 days, and a founder who used the thing every day. That is the thesis I carry into every product role since.
Career
Founded and ran a product studio out of college. Grew it to a 50+ person team and shipped 100+ products across fintech, IoT, automotive, and edtech. Served 100+ business clients, including government.
Led the RBI licensing process and rebuilt the product suite for compliance. Built Split Calculator, an automated reconciliation product that replaced a fully manual settlement process.
Built ePOD and Control Center, an ML-powered predictive logistics platform handling rate calculation, delivery-timeline prediction, and tracking in one dashboard.
Coached 50+ aspiring product managers with a 95%+ placement rate. The foundation for the bootcamp.
What I write about
Products Decoded covers three things: AI tools through lived experience, never theory. Building in public, with real numbers and real friction. And honest takes on the product career in 2026.
